Israeli-Angelenos and supporters protest Palestinian Hamas invading, massacring civilians, abducting families hostage

A Palestinian terrorist returns to Gaza bearing the prize of a
young Israeli man's corpse, slain by their massacre and
abduction group- drawing cheers from fellow Palestinians
Early Saturday, Hamas militants fired thousands of rockets into Israel striking numerous targets. According to an IDF spokesman, some 1,000 Hamas terrorists crossed the internationally recognized border between Gaza and Israel and began massacring civilians in at least 14 Israeli towns and communities, entering homes and apartments and killing men, women, and children—including nearly 300 young people who were attending a rave in the desert. The scenes of horror and bloodshed that resulted, including the murders of entire families, the kidnapping of small children, and rapes of young women, were seemingly intended to cause maximum anger and shock inside Israel. More than 250 people were seized by the terrorists and taken back into Gaza, where they are being held hostage. They include women, very young children, and the elderly.

the corpses of partygoers are laid in groups
Israel's Foreign Ministry estimates that Hamas his killed around 1,200 and at least 1,000 others have been wounded. At least 49 Israeli children and adolescents under the age of 19 were killed in the attack.

The fighting came on the 50th anniversary of the so-called "Yom Kippur War," Oct 6-25, 1973, when Israel was attacked by a coalition of Arab states. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his nation in a televised address Saturday, "We are at war. What happened (Saturday) has never been seen in Israel. We will take mighty vengeance for this black day."

The day following the attacks, several hundred Israelis and other Zionist Jews and Christians gathered in Los Angeles to protest the abductions and massacre. This Zionist pride display triggered a Kuwaiti-Muslim man who challenged the protesters. A few led him back across the street where he explained his views to JewTube.

1) Zionistic-Americans protesting Palestinian Hamas' massacring, abducting Israelis- Never Again is Now!

Jewish, Christian, and Israeli-Americans outraged at Islamist Palestinians savaging 100's of innocent Jewish civilian families call for activism against the vilifying of Jewish retaliation against Islamist atrocities.
This Iranian Jewish-American  discusses the recent massacre of Jews in Israel and emphasizes the importance of the message of "never again." He highlights that the groups responsible for the attack are being funded and trained by Iran and its proxies, comparing them to Nazis. He expresses concern about the government's response to the attack and the lack of prosecution for the attackers, arguing that it empowers those seeking the destruction of the Jewish community. He also calls for stronger protection for the Jewish community and harsher sentences for perpetrators of anti-Semitic crimes.

2) Zionistic protesters rebuff Islamist-antagonist. In a heated exchange in a YouTube video, a Jewish man confronts an individual perceived as Arab, who attempted to harass his group.

3) Ahistoric myths of Islamo-Leftists which fuel hysterics & religious hatred towards Jews and Israelis.

Protesters near UCLA are disrupted by a Muslim-Kuwaiti man - angered, even before Israel retaliated, at basic support for Israel. He asserts that Palestinians have been the rightful owners of the land for centuries and that Israeli people have no right to it. The student justifies this view by referring to accounts in religious texts. He believes that a Palestinian State should replace the Israeli State, implying that Israel is an unjust occupation. The expired student's views were challenged by the interviewer, but he remained steadfast in his belief that Palestine is the true owner of the land and that Israeli people have no right to it.

4) Jewish-Angeleno rebuffs Muslim antagonizing protest of Jihadists torturing US and Israeli civilian hostages:

In a heated exchange, a Jewish-Los Angeleno confronts a Muslim-Arab man, who attempted to harass his group. The gentleman, married to an Israeli-American, expresses disappointment in the Biden Administration's support for Palestinian and Iranian causes, labeling it as financing terrorist organizations, and criticizes American Jews who back Democrats for allegedly disliking Israel. The conversation intensifies when the speaker discusses recent incidents of kidnapping, abuse, and murder of Israeli civilians by Palestinian extremists, expressing skepticism about the prospects for a Palestinian state.

The gentleman advocates for a reset in the ongoing violence between Israel and Gaza, accusing both sides of using propaganda and brutality. He draws parallels between the Islamic jihadist attacks of 9/11 and the present situation, urging action against enemies for America's safety. The speaker expresses frustration towards Muslim antagonists protesting against the treatment of US and Israeli hostages and believes that despite their smaller numbers, Jews and Israel have the ability to defend themselves against adversaries
5) Iranian-Amer concurs with Nikki Haley: Finish-off the Islamists before they conquer more democracies.
Mr. Max, a Persian and spiritual person, aligns with Nikki Haley's perspective on combating Islamist regimes, particularly the Iranian regime. Distancing himself from organized religion, Max urges action against the atrocities in Iran and the Middle East, drawing a solemn comparison to the inaction during the Holocaust. Max, a real estate professional, strongly advocates for intervention to prevent further Islamist conquests of democracies.

6) Jewish Iranian & Israeli-Americans denounce Democrat administration (and other U.N. Marxist / Globalists') support for Iran-backed, Islamist Palestinians

Iranian / Israeli Jewish-American gentleman voices his concerns and frustrations with Democrat support for Iran-backed, Palestinian Islamists. He criticizes the Biden Administration's decision to release $6 billion to Iran, which will be used to support Hamas and terrorism. He argues for stricter measures against terrorism, and expresses worries about the influence of radical Islam. He also discusses the mistreatment of Jews in the Middle East and suggest the idea of an exchange of populations as a solution. Additionally, he raises concerns about the safety of Iranian Jews and question whether it is time for them to leave before becoming hostages.

Muslim savagers of Jews on NY & L.A. streets get under-penalized by liberals, draws no counteraction from "Never Again'ers"

Waseem Awadeh battered Joe Borgen with his metal crutch

by Daniel Greenfield in Sultan Knish 24 July'23

In May 2021, Joseph Borgen was violently assaulted by a Muslim mob while walking down the street in midtown Manhattan in the vicinity of an anti-Israel rally. The Jewish man was kicked, punched, pepper sprayed, beaten with a metal object, and ended up in the hospital.

Borgen was taunted as a “dirty Jew” and the assault was caught on video. “They were kicking me in my ribs, my stomach,” he described.

Waseem Awawdeh, the best known of the attackers, was out two days later. Even after Awawdeh reportedly told prison guards, “If I could do it again, I would do it again”, Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg offered him a plea deal of only six months in prison.

After public outrage, including protests and condemnations by elected officials, it was raised to eighteen months.

Faisal Elezzi, another of the attackers, got off with probation and an obligation to complete “anti-bias programming”.

In Los Angeles that same month, a pro-terrorist Muslim convoy was driving down the street near the Jewish neighborhood of Fairfax, and began harassing outdoor diners at the Sushi Fumi restaurant. Members of the Muslim mob waved a PLO terror flag, demanded to know who at the restaurant was Jewish, and witnesses said chanted, “death to the Jews” and “free Palestine”.

The Muslim attackers reportedly punched, kicked, threw bottles and pepper sprayed their targets - who were members of the Persian Jewish community who had fled Islamic violence in Iran. An
Armenian-Christian, Mr. Mher Hagopian, who dined with the Jews, attempted to fight the antisemites off, but was overwhelved by members of the Palestinian gang.

Just one Muslim, Samer Jayylusi, and an accompanying Latino, Xavier Pabon, got arrested and were summarily released on bail. Two years later, this July, Judge Laura Priver  recently sentenced the two to probation and ordered to visit a Holocaust museum.

The assaults in Manhattan and Los Angeles went viral. Videos of Muslim mobs attacking Jews made their way around the country and the world. They ended up appearing in national news stories. And yet most of those suspects got off with a slap on the wrist and diversity training.

“We take these cases extraordinarily seriously. That sort of hate has no place in Manhattan,” Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg had claimed.

“A hate crime is a crime against all of us,” Los Angeles DA George Gascon had promised, referring to the case. “My office is committed to doing all we can to make Los Angeles County a place where our diversity is embraced and protected.”

Both district attorneys have been linked to the pro-crime progressive prosecutor networks championed by George Soros as well as other leftist billionaires. And their promises of justice evaporated into consequences that could barely qualify as a slap on the wrist.

If the four defendants sentenced so far in these four cases, whose sentences are known, three received probation and anti-bias classes. 75% of the perpetrators in these Muslim mobs may have spent only a few days in prison and have walked away with nothing except some classes.

The message that has been sent by DA Alvin Bragg, DA George Gascon and Judge Laura Priver of the California Superior Court is that Muslim attacks on Jews will go unpunished.

Mher Hagopian addresses L.A.'s Sinai Temple accompanied by Rabbis David Wolpe and Nicole Guzman, 2021 (photo courtesy: Ryan Torok, Jewish Journal of L.A.)

According to reports, Judge Priver thought that “counseling and Museum of Tolerance program was a better solution than sending the two to state prison as the prosecution had requested.”

While these two Muslim mob attacks on Jews caught the attention of the world, there have been individual assaults that have gone unnoticed and mostly unpunished.

What turned this sinner into an orthodox rabbi? What life lessons does he convey from ha-olam ha ba'a

Alon Anava before seeing heaven
Alon Anava was a self-professed, sinning Israeli secularist. He tells that he died during cardiac-arrest, went to heaven, saw the way the universe works, and was returned to life with message to spread.

He changed his life to observing Torah mitzvot and studied Lubavitch Judaism. Today, Rabbi Anava shares (in paid lectures and online) the secrets revealed to him in heaven which transformed him into such an orthodox rabbi.  We watched him address an audience of Sephardim and Ashkenazim in this visit to Los Angeles' Hebrew Discovery Center in November 2014. Muslim & progressive protestors in L.A. profess motive is oppression of Arabs. Why not protest Hamas or other Islamist oppressors? Pat Condell dresses down hypocrisy and offers a quick lesson

British moralist analyst censures Muslims' and progressives' "criminally-biased, selective moralizing."

Arabs, Communists, and Progressives, incited by Hamas' human-shield media circus to vilify Israel,  protest Israel in L.A.  at the end of July.

Far-leftist, ANSWER Coalition's John Bigelow links Arab anti-Israel organizations in protest.

Arab man says he came to protest what "the Jews" are doing to the Arabs- but which other Arab oppression did he rally to protest? Syrian Pres. Assad's killing of over 150,000 Arabs? Ongoing sectarian massacres in Iraq? Muslim Brotherhood oppression of Egyptians? In the same L.A. park, did he, as we did, come to defend the Muslim Iranians being shot in the street during the 2009 election?

Commentator Pat Condell derides Progressives' selective indignation towards the free, Jewish state in the face of provocation by fascistic Islamist Hamas. He presents the Israel's defense against Islamofascism from an historical, rational perspective.

American Arab woman leads Progressives to rally against Israel, but of all she knows about Gaza ("it's a fishing economy') isn't familiar with whether Hamas is oppressing Gazan civilians.

Anti-semitism murdered relatives of this Jewish Progressive, but he denies that anti-Semitism in a factor in rabid anti-Israel progroms around the world, or even an element in Islam, Palestine, or anti-Israel protests such as this.

He defends the mob's charge that Israel is perpetrating "genocide" and using the Holocaust as Israel's rationale for what they do to "genocide in slow-motion" the Palestinians.

Ironically, it is the Muslims who are following the Nazis' play book.
Adolph Hitler's Palestinian ally, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Hajj Amin al-Husseini, assisted Egyptian President Abdel Nasser in providing sanctuary to Nazi war-criminals and continuing Nazis' annihilationist tactics into the Middle East.

Under Nasser, the Nazis united Arab power against the Koran's enemy Jews, expelling nearly 1 million Arab Jewish citizens from Arab countries - and perpetuating the Muslim / Palestinian wars to destroy the Jewish state- Israel's self-defense to which these Progressives and Muslims come out to rail against. At LA rally for Israeli defense against Hamas rockets, 4 Muslims arrested for assault with a deadly weapon; Gunfire heard

A large Pro-Hamas / anti-Israel rally was held at the Israeli Consulate in West Los Angeles on July 8th to protest Israel's striking Gazan human-shields during its defensive curtailment of Hamas' rocket-launching. But judging from the groups returning for Sunday's counter-rally, the Muslims' and far-leftists' (revealed on their AnswerCoalition placards) over-riding goal is the irredentist, Muslim conquest of capitalistic, Jewish Israel.

Four Arab men were arrested at the pro-Israel peace rally in front of the Federal Building in Los Angeles Sunday after pro-Palestinian protesters also turned up and the two sides clashed. At least one gunshot was fired by a Federal Protective Service officer, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office said.

Five men, from Orange County and Jordan, drove their pickup truck alongside Israeli rallyers and taunted them with Palestinian flags. One of the pro-Israel supporters grabbed one of the flags and stepped on it. L.A. County Sheriff's officials told the L.A. Times:
The men then got out of the truck and confronted the group, and used the wooden sticks holding their flags to hit the demonstrators, said Sgt. Dave Valentine. “It was a pretty chaotic thing,” he said.
Police take Orange County antagonist Arabs into custody Sunday evening near UCLA
Witnesses said that several of the pro-Israel participants were hit by the poles, and one person was wounded.  When police who were already on the scene stepped in to break up the scuffle, the attackers tried to flee the scene in their pickup truck. Witnesses say a Federal Protective Service officer on-scene fired a warning shot into the air.

Los Angeles police caught up to the vehicle and arrested the men, identified as Mostadafa Gamaleldin Hafez, Hassan Mustapha Kreidieh, Mohammed Said Elkhatib and Fadi Ali Obeidallah.  They were booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.  They were released after posting $30,000 bail on Monday. The Federal Protective Service agent was placed on administrative leave.  (Combined sources: L.A. Times, KNBC-TV, Jewish Journal).

In the moments before the flag was grabbed, the men in the truck had been shouting taunts at the demonstrators and at Friedman and her car’s occupants, she told The Times.

The men were “taunting and threatening the ralliers [sic],” and thrusting wooden sticks in the direction of the protesters standing on the sidewalk next to the federal building, she said. “They were looking for a fight,” she said. Video and media photographs from the protest support her claim that the men were engaged in a verbal altercation with the protesters, who can be heard on one YouTube video yelling insults back at the men as they drove off.

The pro-Israel rally was organized by the Israel American Council and StandWithUs. Attendance was estimated at between 1200 and 1800 people.

Several attendees shared their motivation to be there.  In this JooTube.TV video playlist, you can watch statements from Evan Sayet, on the leftist mainstream-media bias which incites anti-Israelism.

L.A. Jews evaluate potential County Sheriff successor, Long Beach Police Chief Jim McDonnell

Six of the seven candidates for Los Angeles County Sheriff sparred March 19 in the first public debate of the campaign. KCAL9's Dave Bryan reports.

Friends and family of L.A. Jewish community leader, Stanley Black, organized a fund-raiser on May 17th to aid the campaign of candidate Jim McDonnell, Police Chief of the City of Long Beach. Chief McDonnell explained his candidacy and positions to prospective voters and donors in Beverly Hills. City Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky and actor James Darren can be seen attending.

Long Beach Police Chief Jim McDonnell patiently responds to civilian concerns about Sheriff's office duties, for instance, in the L.A. County Prison System, patrol functions, courts, parks, bomb-squad, and homicide investigation, and FEMA resources and aid.

Warsaw Ghetto Fighters' lessons on Holocaust and Heroes Remembrance Day- how well are liberal Jews adaping to self-defense?

German soldiers accost Jews concentrated in the Warsaw Ghetto

Holocaust Remembrance Day is celebrated on Nisan 27th in Israel, America, and in other Jewish communities around the world.  It relates to the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising by Polish Jews 2 weeks before May 10, 1943.  The history of the holiday is traced by Elon Gilad in Ha'aretz: "The history of Holocaust Remembrance Day" How Israel and the world contended with the challenge of selecting a single date to mark an unspeakable tragedy that happened every day for years.

The Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust staged an annual Holocaust Remembrance Commemoration in Pan Pacific Park. The event featured tribute speeches by Los Angeles civic and religious leaders.  Mayor Eric Garcetti, Israeli Consul General David Siegel addressed the gathered audience, which included a number of Holocaust survivors. J.J. Goldberg, liberal columnist (and former editor-in-chief) of The Forward.com, was selected by Gary Schiller's committee to deliver the keynote address at this year's gathering. In this playlist of the luminaries' speeches (and the children's choir singing before host Jonah Goldrich, "Al Shloshim Devarim") we feature Mr. Goldberg's 13-minute speech. We also include excerpts of Mr. Goldberg's video interview with us in which we discuss how Jewish public criticism of Israel has contributed to anti-Semitism becoming mainstreamed.  We start off with Randall Schoenberg, the chief of the L.A. Museum of the Holocaust, sharing his thoughts on the day.

Jewish World Watch avoids anti-Zionism (Photo: David Crane LA Daily News
According to Dana Bartholomew L.A. Daily News, the commemoration in Los Angeles began with Jewish World Watch holding a "Walk to End Genocide" in 5 cities in addition to Los Angeles' 3,000 walkers on Sunday morning, 27 April.
They marched to recall the systematic slaughter of millions of Armenians, Jews and Rwandans during respective genocides perpetrated by the Ottoman Turks, by Nazi Germany and by Hutu tribes during reigns of terror that spanned the 20th Century.

They took each step to recall more recent atrocities committed in Darfur, Sudan and in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, home to some of the world’s highest incidents of civilian murder and systematic rape.
However, Jewish World Watch typically avoid reference to the sought genocide of their Jewish brothers and sisters in Israel by Palestinians, Islamist Iran, Hezbollah, and, indeed, the entire Islamist jihad.  I wonder whether the Warsaw Ghetto fighters would approve of this on the day set for remembering their vigilance and averting future catastrophe.

The liberal editorial tone towards Israel preserving Jewish safety against Islamic antagonism of The Forward evokes republishing this The People's Cube published (2006) satire of liberal Western conventional-criticism of Israel fighting-back against aggressors as disproportionate- and how it would be depicted if today's New York Times editors were in charge in 1943:
Add caption
Europe's view of the present Israeli offensive against Hezbollah as an "overreaction" and "disproportionate use of force" is rooted in relatively recent history, say progressive researchers. In 1943, Europe itself suffered from a similar Jewish overreaction to some controversial German policies, in an event known as the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, when Zionist radicals attacked the National Socialist German Workers Party that was loved by the German people for its far-reaching educational and social welfare services. In fact, many academics who teach Peace Studies at prestigious universities believe that it was the Zionists' "disproportionate use of force" that had ruined hopes for peace in Europe and caused a humanitarian crisis that could have easily been avoided if only Jews had shown restraint and tolerance towards the democratically elected German government. In fact, the reaction of world's media to the current Middle Eastern crisis is almost identical to that during the 1943 Warsaw crisis when, as modern historians claim, militant Zionists jeopardized the fragile peace that European leaders and progressive intellectuals had been trying to achieve by civilized means - as evidenced by the following collection of quotes and headlines of the time.

El Al LAX Memorial: Nonie Darwish: We Egyptians must also free ourselves of our Jew-hatred

Egyptian Islamist, Hesham Mohamed Hadayat shot and/or stabbed 6 people at Los Angeles International airport on Independence Day 2002, the first Independence Day following Al Qaeda's attacks on the World Trade Center, U.S. Pentagon, and attempt to crash the Capitol.  Had passengers and El Al security not wrestled his weapons during the attack, other airline's passengers might have been massacred.  See Democracy Broadcasting's story from last years annual memorial, Assessing our resistance to jihad on the 10th memorial of the Independence Day Islamic terror attack on L.A.X.

El Al attendent, Victoria Hen, and Jacob Aminov were the two Israeli-Americans who died of the shots inflicted Hesham Mohamed Hedayat, that July 4th, 2002 morning.  Aminov, a father of 5 children (and 1 on the way) was only dropping-off a friend flying on El Al, Michael Shabtai (whose post-traumatic stress disorder from the bloodbath contributed to his pre-mature death at age 57).

Avi and Rachel Hen, parents of L.A. terror victim, Vicky Hen, have organized a memorial vigil at L.A.X. each year since the first anniversary of the deaths.

The Islamist who attacked travellers at L.A.X. is part of the movement the Egyptian public have rejected in droves in the streets.  Muslim-raised Egyptian, Nonie Darwish, delivered this impassioned plea at a memorial to the Israeli-American victims.  She apologized for the racism in Arab / Muslim society which terrorizes to conquer non-Muslims- especially Jews, which is promoted in mosques and schools.

Ms. Darwish calls for awareness to - and an end to - Egypt's Nazi-inherited demogoguery of Jew-hatred - which creates a straw-man enemy distraction for failing societies- plus threats to the safety and stability of Jews and the societies in which they live around the world- especially Israel.  She says Muslims must give-up their Holy War against Jews and Christians.  Egyptians' rebellion against the Muslim Brotherhood's Islamism shows the world that Muslims are ready for moderation and reform.

At the 11th memorial of the Islamic terrorist attack at LAX which killed his daughter, Victoria, Avi Hen questions for the press whether security lapses (local and federal) which contributed to the near massacre of the Int'l Terminal by a West Coast Jihadist were intentional or coincidental- as he feels there has been no accountability or justice for Victoria's survivors.

Avi Hen expressed to the press (from 4 TV channels) his frustration with what he has experienced as authorities' stonewalling, lack of accountability on airport police absence enabling the attempted massacrist access to International Terminal.

Klaus Ben-Ami Hackel, El Al's station manager at that time, has been a consistent attendee, along with some of El Al's desk personnel at the time.  The German-raised Mr. Hackel was exposed to Palestinian terrorism in Munich during the '72 Olympics Massacre.  As Lufthansa's station manager at Israel's airport, he strove to avoid terror.  When El Al hired him, he redoubled his efforts to avoid Islamic terror on the Israeli airline for years. But when he transferred to L.A.X. airport, Islamic terrorism finally caught up with him, attempting a massacre on his watch. At the memorial, Mr. Ben-ami Hackel discusses the impact of the 2002 jihadist attack on his life and our world.

Dror Ben-Ami, partner of Klaus Ben-Ami Hackel, attending the EL AL memorial ceremony at L.A.X. expressed dismay at Israeli-Americans' complacency in failing to stand-up for their own and to deter enemies.

Mr. Ben-Ami warns that like their Nazi predecessors, what starts as against only Jews, never ends with Jews, but is a threat of Muslim power against all non-Muslims.

The attack occurred just 10 months after the US declared War on Terror.  L.A. airport, city and federal authorities were reluctant to acknowledge that another Islamist network succeeded in nearly massacring the International Terminal at Los Angeles Int'l Aiport.

Menorah lighting and Chanukah concert in L.A. draws many revelers, civic leaders

Israelis join Jews & Christians in confronting their detractors, Islamst / Far-Left antagonists

Maya Hayon, 17, counselor with Israeli Scouts of America
demonstrates support for Israeli Pillar of Defense at L.A. rally

L.A. riot-squad riflemen close down major intersection to separate factions

As occurred during 2008's Operation Cast Lead, Israel's Operation "Pillar of Defense" to neutralize Hamas' incessant terror rocketing, incites anti-Israel activity on the streets and in the media.  Much of the Hamas provoking Israeli retaliative casualties (and corresponding, western Islamist/anti-Capitalist street protesting) occurs for the purpose of directing the media to vilify Israel and build international pressure against her; and to stimulate public empathy towards the Palestinian Arabs- which generates international aid and political benefits (such as support in the U.N. for Palestinian nationalism- precluding the Oslo obligations for direct negotiations.

Islamist activists groups work hand in hand with sophisticated, far-left activist groups- united in their desire to weaken and assume leadership over capitalist America and Israel. On Thursday eve 15 Nov, an anti-Israel rally was held outside of the new Israeli Consulate location in L.A. by American Muslims for Palestine carrying placards and signs given to them by the far-left ANSWER.  No Israel-advocacy group counter-protested the well-organized (and led chanting) anti-Zionists.  Merely a handful of concerned Jews individually showed-up to counter-protest.

The anti-Zionist axis is indignant and aggressive- especially as the pro-Israel groups who might come down are reasoning, Jewish-Americans who assume that by declaring that "Israel wants peace" they'll somehow claim the high-ground over ethnic minorities who want to kill them because their fellow colonialist Zionists dispossessed them from their indigenous homeland.  But as this video from Friday's San Francisco Pro-Hamas (meaning anti-Zionist) demonstration shows, perceived weak  counter-protests embolden aggression, such as this anti-Semitic lesbian karate-kicking a 62-year old man in the abdomen.

While the 4-year old, Israeli Leadership Council, with a membership of Israeli-immigrant Americans, has organized cultural and educational events, on Sunday 18 Nov they joined with Jewish-American groups to come out and rally public support for Israel.  And without a great deal of slogan-chanting organization, while many mothers and daughters sang songs of peace, many of the men (and women)- who are I.D.F. military veterans- felt antagonized by the vitriolic Islamist/Marxists whose protest was smaller and weaker.  Some of the Israelis crossed Wilshire Blvd to get better heard by the anti-Zionists. And there were only a few police there (unlike Thursday night) and a scuffle broke out in which an Arab slipped, but police and private security separated the small group.

L.A. pro/anti-Israel rally draws menacing response towards Jews from police

Do the Israelis and Zionists (several Christians joined the Jewish Americans) have a right to be able to assemble without being intimidated by the militaristic conduct of the police which ensued?  StandWithUs leader, Roz Rothstein told JooTube that the police wanted to disperse the pro-Israel crowd- and asked her to do it from the police car megaphone. Most complied, though there were a few who lingered in the parking lot of the Federal Building - the same lot in which many of the aggressive Islamists & Leftists needed to enter to get their cars out.  The police created a protective circle around them and escorted them to the lot- backed by the rifle wielding riot-squad.

Not that the Muslims really had any reason to fear in the parking lot.  But will the Israeli-immigrants continue to put a little skin in the game?  And how will they influence the tone of representing the Jewish community against anti-Zionist, Jew-hate rallies- which, in war times, can morph into pogroms?
Proud, Israeli-American young people the police separated the Islamo-Marxists from

Black talk-radio host, Rev Jesse Lee Peterson urges Los Angelenos elect Lubavitch Rabbi Nahum Shifren to Calif. State Senate 26th District to benefit all

Radio talk-host Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson delivers a fascinating, loving endorsement for inner-city, civic-conditions reformer, orthodox Rabbi Nachum Shifren, for Calif's 26th Senate District from Los Angeles over Curren Price, the black liberal incumbent. Rev. Peterson urges voting for character, not color.

Black activists allege dirty-pool in minorities' racism-mongering against critics of Obama or support for Calif State Sen candidate, orthodox Rabbi Nahum Shifren over black, liberal incumbent

Veteran U.S. Army Officer James Spence discusses why he feels that minority voters should elect Orthodox urban-activist Rabbi Nahum Shifren to better serve voters in L.A.'s 26th Senate District over Rabbi Shifren's black, liberal opponent, Curren Price. Mr. Spence calls to overcome the pigmentation politics mentality which keeps minorities from electing better public-servant candidates.

Lesley Jordan, an African-American conservative, argues to elicit support for Calif. State Senate Republican Candidate from L.A., Nahum Shifren- a white urban-activist running in a large minority district (26th) against an incumbent black liberal. Black-conservative Les Jordan exposes blacks' playing of racial politics against whites to derail criticism of Obama's Administration - despite what he feels is Obama's betrayal of blacks and whites to benefit alien Hispanics.

Les Jordan, America's Black Shield activist and blog-moderator, absolves non-black critics of Pres. Obama (and the Congressional Black Caucus) from fear of guilt of racism in this fascinating, in-depth discussion. Mr. Jordan reveals unethical black-racism against whites and blacks dissatisfied with Obama as president. He exposes the Nation of Islam as a mafia and asks uncomfortable questions about their ties with Obama.

Theodore Herzl's legacy of freedom of religion memorialized in Beverly Hills street naming by America's first Persian-American mayor

The City of Beverly Hills honored the memory of Theodore Herzl, the forefather of Zionism, restoring Jewish sanctuary within its ancestral homeland. Mayor Jimmy Delshad calls the Obama administration to prioritize America's protection of the Israeli and Iranian peoples from Islamist imperialists, especially the government of Iran.

Beverly Hills Mayor Jimmy Delshad, the first Iranian-born elected official in America, renamed the block of Clark Street adjacent to the Temple Emmanuel Jewish Day School as "Herzl Way" to be an inspiration to the public and students of this historic civil rights figure.

On what would be Theodore Herzl's 150th birthday, Beverly Hills (the sister-city of Herzl's namesake city in Israel - Herzliya) on Sunday, May 2nd, the City held a dedication ceremony, addressed by Israel's Consul General to Los Angeles, Mr. Jacob Dayan. Israel's former Minister for Public Security, Avi Dichter, also attended the ceremony.
Temple Emmanuel's school choir entertained the audience, singing an inspirational, original composition about Israel's significance as a refuge from contemporary anti-Semitism. Mayor Delshad and Mr. Dayan joined the estimated 300 attendees for Israeli folk dancing and singing.

In the 1890's, in response to perpetual Jew-hatred in Europe, Theodore Herzl catalyzed the concept of seeking refuge for persecuted Jews by re-establishing sovereignty over Judaism's homeland - where Jews have been residing for 3,000 years - Israel. Israel is the only country Judaism considers holy, and Jerusalem (the capitol of Judaism) was re-established as Israel's civil capital in Mr. Herzl's movement - called Zionism.
