Argentina is home to a Jewish community of 230,000, the largest in Latin America and sixth largest in the world, outside of Israel.
To commemorate the Iran-directed, Hezbollah bombing of the AsociaciĆ³n Mutual Israelita Argentina / Buenos Aires Jewish Community Center, which injured 300 people and killed 85 people on 18 July 1994, The L.A. Jewish Film Festival 2016 held a screening of "The Tenth Man," a drama set in the wake of the event.
