Israel's 1st Nobel Prize winner, bio-chemist Dr. Avram Hershko, appears on behalf of Israel Cancer Research Fund

Israel's bio-med research community is a leading contender to develop cures and treatments for cancers. Israel's 1st, Nobel prize awardee, Dr. Avram Hershko (with his wife, Judy) relate their remarkable story to the Israel Cancer Research Fund "Laureate Circle."

Preceding an interview with the group, a biographical tape is shown, featuring the Nobel award ceremony and a brief life history of Dr. Hershko's ascension from WWII forced labor camps, to the heights of research at the Technion in Haifa, Israel.



Members of the Laureate Circle, Barry & Mirielle Wolfe, conduct this public discussion with Dr. and Mrs. Hershko, held during July's first week. Ron Plotkin moderated the evening, elegantly catered by Pat's, hosted by Edward and Elissa Czuker in Beverly Hills.
