Steven Geiger presents "The Mensch Awards" to H.I.A.S. director, Mark Hetfield, Holocaust survivor, Bill Harvey and Leon Bass, WWII camp liberator

Mensch Foundation director, Steven Geiger, presented "The Mensch Awards" to Zubin Mehta, Holocaust survivor-turned Hollywood cosmetician, William Harvey, H.I.A.S. director, Mark Hetfield, and Leon Bass, Jr  - who accepted the award on behalf of his late father, Leon Bass, an African-American G.I.  among the liberators who freed prisoners from Buchenwald concentration camp.  
The event was held on March 15, 2019 in a presentation at Temple of the Arts in Beverly Hills, overseen by Rabbi David  Baron.
